I really hope that there will be some secret code that can be entered into the keypad that will pop open a secret compartment with some goodies in it.

I pre ordered this today for the 139.96 since the only movie i have is Iron Man Digibook. To me its worth the money not only that it will probably become rare like the Inception briefcase..

Last week I sold mine on ebay and got:

$13 Iron Man ultimate 2 disc set

$31 Iron Man 2 combo pack with slipcover - digital copy disc

$30 Incredible Hulk in the green case with lenticular slip (had 2, kept 2 because of the cool slip and green case)

I still have capt america and thor which I haven't listed yet. I thought the above brought pretty good prices for ebay and their sale will pay for a decent portion of the new set.

Pre-ordered this thing because of the contents inside. I'm gonna have to sell all of the non-3D versions because I already own them (except for the Avengers, of course and I already own Thor 3D). I'm still undecided about this. It's big and bulky but I do like the contents. I wonder if the disc art will change, too (I'm guessing they will). I'm still going to get the Target version of the Avengers, too. My wallet is bleeding like mad! Now the last thing that I want to happen is for Best Buy to announce a steelbook version of the Avengers. Too many choices.

Yeah, I caved when I saw it.
Pre-ordered.
Selling the discs from my collectible editions of the Pre-Avengers movies.
I assume the disney coupon will work on this set when it gets to best buy, but in this case it won't really offset the tax... Oh well. I'll wait and see the price there.

Also buying the Target set and will sell off the duplicate discs down the line.
This is set is geektastic.
Now running in 3D with the LG Cinema 3D (nominally showing 3D in 1080i per eye) 47LW6500 (up-or-down-or-side-graded from a 50" Sammy 3D Plasma) and a Benq W1070 and a 100" screen, and controlling it with a Harmony 880.

If you're a special features fan, I'd hold onto the 2nd discs of Iron Man 1 and 2, as it's likely they are going to be on this set as their one disc versions.

Wait a second, it would be so cool if they came out with an Avengers Collectors set that had all the current Avengers themed movies in it!

Ok, I'm in the UK and want this, but really need to know what the region codes are, it says A on the site, but does anyone know for sure?

No set like this here and I want the 3D BR's too.

As far as I know, it's using the discs from the previous releases for the other films which those are region free. The only problem would be the region coding on The Avengers.

I can't believe that it took THAT LONG for a video to show up.

Now I wonder if that's all it does. If I was buying it, I'd want a bit more of a random "throbbing" effect or solid glow effect as opposed to a comstantly repetitive blinking pattern.

Hey, it's Comic Con!
Still kind of hard to tell, but it sure does look like those cases could house spindles! Slip sleeves, always seem to have one fold and no discernable space in between.
Uggh, HULK SMASH GLASS AND LOOK!!!

Anyway so glad I ordered this day 1. What I really like about this set, is waiting to see what the next set for whatever series/movie will be like to out do this one!! Keep raising the bar studios so we fans keeping winning.

Thanks for sharing, that's awesome. I think the new lower price on Amazon and the glowing Cosmic Cube has me sold. Can't wait!
