Germany The Official Camera Obscura Thread

Camera Obscura are an excellent boutique label out of Germany who specialize in genre Italian films. They produce very high quality special editions of cult films that are typically very hard to find. They are a bit like Masters of Cinema for Italian cult films. I thought we could follow closely their releases in this thread. In 2014, Camera Obscura will start releasing on Blu-ray (see info below).

Their Facebook page:
http://de-de.facebook.com/CameraObscuraFilmdistribution

Note: All of these releases are English-friendly. Most also come in special digipacks (see photos at the bottom of this post).

Blu-ray Releases

I just finished adding back all 11 CO IGCC titles and the 4 stand alone titles to the data base.

The 4th Stand Alone CO release was Libido Mania. Also, here's the 2nd Edition of So Sweet, So Dead in an Amaray case and limited to only 500 copies.

Also noticed that the thumbnail image for Snatch (La Orca) is incorrect.

This is strange. All three images are correct here. Maybe you need to hard-refresh because there were a lot of new submissions.

Check page 9 of the recently listed. That's the thumb I'm referring to.

Yes, but I am seeing the correct cover for La Orca

So, you just need to wait a bit for the servers to update all covers across the board.

Also, I wanted to ask, these should be all German releases, but you entered the Austrian flag. Any particular reason why?

Sorry, I've been offline since yesterday. That pic is still up for me. How is that possible?

Somewhere I thought I read CO was based in Austria but I've since found they're from Cologne, Germany. I'll change the flags.

No problem, don't worry. The system will automatically update everything. Sometimes it could take up to a couple of days for the image/cover to change.

The updated cover is already in, you just can't see it. Hard-refreshing (hit F5 on your keyboard a couple of times) sometimes helps.

Thanks.

Coupla times! Try a thousand! I've even completely re-booted my system.

But I really am unsure why this happens with certain covers. I noticed it a couple of years ago.

I just got the individual link to finally refresh to La Orca but the pic on page 15 is still the old one.

Edit: Finally flipped this evening!

I just found again where I read that the original two Sazuma titles were from Austria. I guess Sazuma was based there. Anyway, unless you add Sazuma to the dropdown menu, we can't change it from the current Camera Obscura (Germany) listing.

Camera Obscura have posted several images from their Top Sensation master on their Facebook page. There are some NSFW images there (at least right now), so here is a small sample of safe-for-work images (I have used spoiler tags to save space):

^

Is there a set release date for this title, McCrutchy?

I will be buying for sure (I need to double-check, but I am pretty sure I have an Italian disc of this film under a different name).
