Thought I'd pop this thread back up since the last one was lost and doesn't seem to have been replaced

Once I get this all thats left is to get hold of IronMan 2 and phase 1 is complete!

Those would be the only three i will have most likely in steelbook format until i:

A) see a really good deal and/or somebody tells me about it

B) They have another re-release.

I hope Play.com get Iron Man 2 though unless we get crazy pricing somewhere else

I reall hope that play have a second wave of Paramount steels, then I'm sure we would get IM2! It needs to happen, then the set will feel truely complete since they will all be UK releases!

Somebody gimme a rough idea what i should be looking to pay for both bargain end and rip off side of £ for both Captain America and Thor UK releases.

I know Iron Man is getting released obviously and assume Iron Man 2 is right behind it as well but i want all UK steels even if they do all look similar mostly because there will be a subtle tell somewhere.

I can definately say that the £89.99 being asked for it on Amazon uk is a rip off!

The steel was I think, £19.99 brand new. so if you can find it at that price or less, than happy days.

As for the higher end price, like I said I think 89.99 is a complete rip off, and you should only pay what you feel comfortable paying. Speaking for myself, I have never paid more than £30 for a steelbook, and thats including shipping.

A good idea would be to go on eBay and search the finished auctions etc to see what the final prices were for them, that will help give a beter idea of what to pay

Thanks for the advice. I kinda did that but it's good to know what other people have been able to get them at as well. I'm not prepared to pay more than £30 and would rather close in at £25 which is more ideal for my tight self

Just hoping there really is a re-release of those two soon as well.

Just keep an eye out mate. There are always members willing to help out others for pretty much cost. When we actually get a price and release date we'll know more of who will ship em over the pond

Getting this one, as I have TIH, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America in steelbooks, along with Avengers in a few months time.

No point in continuing to hunt down the FutureShop Iron Man 1 steelbook when Play.com releases their one.

Don't get me wrong. I NEVER would've paid stupid amounts for the FutureShop version. I was only considering getting the FutureShop version if I ever found it going really, really cheaply.

Now that the Play.com version will be available, I don't have to worry.

. Although flights can sometimes be bought cheaply to go to places like Florida etc i don't have a frigging clue how the visa system really works for UK. Think your meant to send off something on a visa site and then do something. Was a little confused by it tbh. Might pick up some cheap steelbooks at BB for you guys and then pay me P&P for when i send then in the UK

I think the future shop one I ugly. Its price is way too high for my blood. I sorta didn't care for steel'ing out the marve movies since it felt impossible. Now I feel dumb for not grabbing thor at release. I had to have cap since he I my favorite of the avengers. I am so in whenever someone does a group buy. I love this site.
