THANK YOU!! I feel the exact same.

By the way, I wanna point out that if Disney wants to release the sequels, I HIGHLY endorse that they do it individually from the originals! This is a 2-Movie Collection that makes sense! Two cheapquels (although I sadly have to admit I kind of enjoyed Cindy III) apart from the original; perfect - parents can buy it to spoil their children with.. well.. sequelitis nonsense, and collectors can keep their collections clean.

I also endorse Fantasia/Fantasia 2000 and Rescuers/RDE but you know, those are collections of two movies that can be considered equal; the animation / story quality in either is equal. Pairing up an original movie (e.g. Pocahontas) with it's cheaply animated, cheaply plotted and cheaply executed sequel (Pocahontas II cough cough) is kind of insulting.

Not that I'd buy it, but imagine if they did this to the Aladdin sequels! I really wanna see cover art / screenshots / reviews for those.
Even better, they could to it to the Little Mermaid sequels as well!

Pretty much in the same boat as everyone else here. Cinderella II was godawful. Cinderella III wasn't too bad, but I won't be rushing to buy this set, not even just for completeness as a Disney collector.
I buy Disney DVDs and Blu-Ray, message me if you're selling! :)

I just honestly don't feel the need to upgrade most of the Disney non-theatrical sequels... "Beauty and the Beast" and "Aladdin" are the only exceptions I can think of.

With 'Cinderella' as I've previously mentioned I thought the first sequel was so horrible that I doubt I'll ever give the second sequel a chance...

I'm So glad they put bought films on one Disc!

If only they would have done this with THE LION KING 2 & 3 I might have them on Blu Ray aswell but there was like NO WAY I was paying $27 for each

Glad to see DISNEY didnt get greedy with Cinderella like they did with THE LION KING Sequels

Well they are very different. I'd say Lion King 3 is like an affectionate parody of the original, while 2 is mainly a disappointing and poorly animated sequel that tries too hard. But to be fairly honest if they had put out a Lion King set including the two DTVs as extras on the second disc (like they did with Cinderella, and I'm not referring to the Trilogy Pack) I may have considered it.
Disney Wishlist '13: Peter Pan ● Treasure Planet ● Wreck-it Ralph ● Mulan ● Many Adventures
Great Mouse Detective ● Hercules ● Hunchback of Notre Dame ● Dumbo ● The Little Mermaid
Brother Bear ● Atlantis ● Aladdin ● Hercules ● Sleeping Beauty
--
Ghibli Wishlist '13: My Neighbor Totoro ● Kiki's Delivery Service ● Whisper of the Heart

I didn't really see 1 1/2 as a parody, I almost thought it was a tribute to the original. 2 wouldv'e been great if it didn't have big shoes to fill

I think its another one of those scenerios whether you like one or the other. Myself, I don't like 1.5 as much. The second one on the other hand I love. Either way I wouldn't of cared if they would have bunched them, because usually if i buy one of a sequel i want the whole trilogy. I buy all the diamonds their sequels.

Oh, you can give it a chance--
3's not a TV pilot (a cruise-ship show, yes, but not a pilot), but it is an apology for the previous one destroying their sequel division almost singlehandedly, and a high-classily contrite one at that.

I saw 2 more as "No, really--Scar had a romantic female interest we didn't tell you about!"
(Although it's clear that it was pretty much her one-sided interest to begin with...Are there such things as Lion Hags?)

I was wondering if anyone knew about the bonus features? I know it sounds weird but I was wondering if the Hayden Panettiere video was still included. I was a little disappointed that the Disney Channel Stars' cover of "A Dream Is A Wish" wasn't carried over from the last dvd release. I know it won't bother anyone else but as someone in the age group that I grew up with all these stars and their videos on Disney Channel all the time, I kinda miss them.

I know how you feel!
I love Aly, Raven and the rest of the gang singing that song. I guss Disney didnt wanna pay them royalties to have the music video on the Blu Ray. That or Maybe they just felt that the old Disney Channel Stars are no longer relevant to the new generation of Disney Channel viewers. Disney Toons are as timeless as the sun but Disney Channels Stars are sadly replaceable and the Walt Disney Corparation knows this very well.

As for New Bonus features ...dont hold your breath. Disney Is geting very cheep when it comes to extra content on Blu Rays now. I remember when Blu Ray just came out and the Disney dvds would brag about how much space there would be for cool new bonus features. Yet movies like Houcs Poucs are coming out on Blu Ray bearboned. with the movie and not so much as a trailer or tv spot. Ohhhhhhhhhhh but the price tag will still say $28.99 lol

So much Disc Space......yet so little content

I guess it looks like bestbuy is the only one advertising it. Can anyone tell me how much target or Walmart is going to be?

Best Buy and Amazon.com are the only stores selling it for 22.99
Wish Disney had a coupon for this release. I think 19.99 would be a good price for this Cinderella purchase.

I picked this up at Best Buy today along with the Expendables 2; I had a $5 reward zone certificate, so I didn't mind the price.

They put bought films on one disc to save money.
No Blu Ray Disc Artwork what so ever. Just the words Cinderella II and III printed on a blue backgrowd. The new Blu Ray discs were also striped of all the Special Feature the Original dvds had including Hayden Panettiere's music vidoes and games.

It only had one new Special Feature that was just put on the disc to promote the Walt Disney World them parks by showing how much fun little 5yr old girls have when they go to disney world because they can dress up like a Disney princes Which is kind of ironic because they have a rule that if your over the age of 12 If you dress up as a Disney princess or as they call it "a fancy dress" they wont even sell you a ticket to go into the park untill you take it off lol
