Millennium Media is bringing Richard Linklater's BERNIE to Blu-ray on August 21st, 2012.

The pre-order price on Amazon.com is $14.99

Starring: Jack Black, Matthew McConaughey and Shirley MacLaine

Synopsis: In small-town Texas, the local mortician strikes up a friendship with a wealthy widow, though when he kills her, he goes to great lengths to create the illusion that she's alive.

I haven't had a chance to see this film yet, so i'll check it out when it releases. For those who have seen it what did you think?

The film was entertaining enough. It was a good performance by Jack Black, whom I don't usually like. I also enjoyed the performance of Matthew McConaughey as an attorney, a role he has filled often. Shirley MacLaine of course was very convincing.
This is a true story, and it was a very one-sided view that the movie presented.
I would say this is worth a rental but not worth my money to own.

The gatefold part of the slip is glued shut, I checked all of the copies at Best Buy and they were like that. I had to use a knife when I got home to cut through the glue so I could open it up!

Anyone else having trouble finding this on bestbuy.com was going to order this to make my order over $50 but I cannot pull it up.
