Default Stone Temple Pilots: Alive in the Windy City

Anyone else grab this? I preordered it when I was searching Amazon for upcoming blu's many months ago and completely forgot about it until a shipping notice yesterday. I'm a pretty huge fan of STP and was extremely excited when they not only got back together and put together a new album, but also went on tour. I never thought that I would be able to see them on tour and it was every bit of amazing as I thought it'd be.

The review is up and is a pretty average one, 3.5 for both audio and video.. but hey, I'll take it. It's one of my favorite bands, and at least everything is synced up, unlike the Nirvana release!
I'm only looking for one steelbook:

I'm very excited for this Blu-ray too, I've seen STP in concert twice and Velvet Revolver once. I'm not too worried about the review, concert films usually don't have the best video.

Speakers: Paradigm Studio 100, Paradigm CC-690, Polk FXI-A4, HSU VTF-15H, (2) ED A2-300
Audio: Pioneer VSX-1121, Emotiva XPA-5, APC H15
Video: Epson 8350, 100" Elite Screen Sable, PS3, HTPC

I'd like to see them in concert, but I thought the new album was boring.

Got it yesterday! Eagle Rock puts out another great title IMHO. For a 4 man band, the audio quality is fantastic. They play all their classic tunes very admirably. The behind the scene interview is kind of lame...I don't think the drummer speaks at all .

The video quality is nothing great, but I mostly care about the audio in my blu-ray concerts. The audio is very loud! My system at -15 db was plenty loud.

If you're an STP fan, then this is a must buy!

Kretz isn't a very outspoken guy. You always hear about the drama with Scott and the DeLeo brothers, but never anything about Kretz.

If you guys like STP, you should also check out the band Talk Show. It's basically STP without Scott.

I never did pick up their most recent album. I only own Core through Shangri-La Dee Da. I did see that they finally released Samba Nova on the latest album, though. That was always my favorite b-side from the Shangri-La Dee Da recordings. I wish they did more bossa nova songs, I love it. There's also a swing version of Sex Type Thing.. STP does other genres very well.

Hoping Amazon gets the blu to me today!
