I keep hearing such good things about this show but I don't want to just buy it in September in case I don't like it. Does anyone know if you can watch the episodes anywhere online? I don't see anything on Netflix for it either.

My dvr skipped the Piggly Wiggly episode during the original run. The twist contained in that episode was an even bigger *wtf* when it was explained the closer to the end. Such a fantastic show. They actually had the house on Hollywood Treasure this season.

Was that the episode regarding
[Show spoiler]the daughter's fate following her suicide "attempt" from earlier in the season
, by chance?

EDIT: Never mind. The ep you're referring to was
[Show spoiler]where she actually committed suicide. My jaw literally dropped when it was revealed she was dead nearly the entire season.

i think hes referring to
[Show spoiler]the guy who thought a killer pig man would appear behind him in the shower if he said his name in the mirror, and when he finally did it a burglar came out of the shower and shot him out of nowhere.

ghostsofjoy's edit is what I was specifically referring to. From the recap I read it was one of the better episodes of the season. csdot has the right episode. Seems like it was the worst possible episode to miss out on.

One of my favorite new shows. I can't wait to rewatch the entire season in glorious HD

I will say this though.... I don't think it's a good blind buy for those of you who have never seen it. It seems to be a very polarizing show. You either go with it and love it or reject everything it's trying to do and hate it... There's really no place in the middle I suppose that's the case with all of Ryan Murphy's shows.

Oh! And of course, how can I not mention Connie Britton.... She doesn't get nearly enough work as far as I'm concerned!
[Show spoiler]It sucks that she won't be in the second season
.

I agree with you! It was the moment the show went from "awesome" to "fantastic" for me. This is easily a day 1 purchase. I was living with my parents at the time that most of it aired and they kept saying they wanted to watch it from all the screaming coming from me and my niece watching it...

I am amazed it took this long to come out considering how popular it was. I understand it's standard practice to wait until the next season, but it will have been almost a year since it aired. Still, very excited to pick it up.

I was hoping that some of the deleted scenes the cast talked about would be included.

Me as well. Ryan Murphy has stated that the pilot and season finale were both significantly longer in their original incarnations and I'm a little disapointed that the extended versions won't be on the blu-ray. But maybe the footage was cut for a reason?

All I know is that I was addicted to this show when it was airing and I'll be buying it day 1. Gonna have a weekend marathon w/ the bf before season 2 starts (He didn't even know what it was until I showed him a preview last night).

It's standard practice...lol doesn't have anything to do with being popular, you even said so yourself. every show is this way
