Depends on the day. Yesterday it was June and then we went back in time to April. But I think we're back to June again. Maybe Tony Stark was experimenting on something new for the Iron Man armor.

At least this post doesn't have a bunch of semi-OT fanboy arguing over X-Men/Superman/TDK. Here's hoping it stays that way.

I also can't wait for the release of this, the Joss commentary is certain to be a highlight and the gag reel should also be great; I can imagine a lot of hilarious line flubs and accidents involving props occurring. If these are the final specs hopefully the featurettes are comprehensive as there's only two of them listed.

As for the covers the 3D one gets my vote, but it would also be nice to see some character covers. I'd pick up a Black Widow and/or Hawkeye one if they did that.

I've been gone, so help me out here. Does anyone know what the suitcase/10 Disc set actually looks like and what stuff (other than movies) it comes with?

http://www.amazon.com/Marvel-Cinemat...9241506&sr=8-5
Limited Edition collection includes:

• Marvel’s The Avengers (Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray)
• Captain America: The First Avenger (Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray)
• Thor (Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray)
• Iron Man 2 (Blu-ray)
• The Incredible Hulk (Blu-ray)
• Iron Man (Blu-ray)
• Bonus Disc - “The Phase One Archives” (Blu-ray)
• Collectible packaging with exclusive memorabilia from the Marvel Cinematic Universe

IIRC from the thread that used to exist for it more information will be released mid-July. It's available for pre-order for $153 at Amazon and while it's tempting, Thor is the only one of the movies I'd actually want to own other than The Avengers so I'll probably give it a pass, although I am holding off buying Thor until we know more details just in case.

Holding off on pre-ordering the Ultimate collection until we know what's in it. Or how practical/impractical the case will be. I've seen the other movies, own none of them, so more than likely I'll be buying the whole set at some point.

From what I have read, no.

The way it sounded, the 3D & 2D Blu-Ray releases would have the same extras (I can't guarantee that) and the DVD release was only going to have something like the commentary track and a featurette.

We still have over 3 months to go until it comes out. I'm sure more info will come out plus you never know what store is gonna have what exclusive.

As Omen2000 said, so far no.

Which is rather unfortunate, as i had hoped it would at least have as much extras as the first 2 Iron Man movies, since i really expected such a big event as this to have. Too bad Disney isn't us giving a set of supplementals like the Avatar extended edition Fox put out, imagine 3 or 4 discs of extras for this, that would've been so awesome Still a day 1 purchase for me though, already got a double dip planned for getting both the Dutch and US releases

I'd be willing to bet Best Buy will have a Bonus Disc, following their pattern for Pirates 4,Cars 2,and John Carter. If John Carter gets a bonus disc, and it wasn't a big success(and that is putting it lightly) I have no doubt the Record-Breaking Avengers will too. Just hoping the Avengers:Phase One set doesn't have anything big as exclusives, because I will not be happy to have to double-dip on the Avengers Lead-Up movies, when I would have to keep at least the 1st 2 Iron Man Movies for the 2nd Discs,AND have to buy a Best Buy Exclusive Avengers Blu-Ray,seeing as it would probably only come in the 3D version. Because Comic Book Movies are some of my biggest fanboy-esque double-dipping problems, where I would buy an entire box set just to get a bonus disc depending on what was on it,plus I just realized, that since Disney is releasing the set, that all the discs may have differences, seeing as Paramount released 4 of them, while Universal released the other. Oh that is starting to worry me now......
