Since the thread was deleted due to the database fallout I decided to resurrect it
Original story Kasabian will release their storming 2011 London o2 performance on DVD and Blu-ray on June 25th. The special editions feature a 13-track CD of the show. This release also features a documentary about the tour, named "I Hear Voices" (not to be confused with the song). Available in: DVD version DVD + CD version Blu ray Amazon.co.uk Blu ray + CD Amazon.co.uk Tracklisting: DVD/Blu ray 'Days Are Forgotten' 'Shoot The Runner' 'Velociraptor!' 'Underdog' 'Where Did All The Love Go?' 'ID' 'I Hear Voices' 'Thick As Thieves' 'Take Aim' 'Clubfoot' 'Re-Wired' 'Empire' 'La Fée Verte' 'Fast Fuse' / 'Pulp Fiction' 'Goodbye Kiss' 'LSF' 'Switchblade Smiles' 'Vlad The Impaler' 'Fire' Special Editions CD 'Days Are Forgotten' 'Shoot The Runner' 'Velociraptor!' 'Underdog' 'Take Aim' 'Clubfoot' 'Re-Wired' 'La Fée Verte' 'Goodbye Kiss' 'LSF' 'Switchblade Smiles' 'Vlad The Impaler' 'Fire' Video is in 2.35 or 2.39 (the case mistakenly states it is 1.78) Audio is a 5.1 DTS-HD MA track. My own impressions (haven't seen the whole concert yet): The performance on dislay is good, energetic as you would expect from this band. I appreciated the fact that they actually let some violin artists play during "Where Did All the Love Go" (as opposed to simply use a backing track. The concert is shot pretty fast though usually some 4-5 seconds, so you shouldn't get a seizure Video quality is good, not the best but colours are realistic and detailing is good (though there weren't many moments with really close up shots so far). The audio is a bit uneven, separation and "punch" of the audio vary from time to time. When you would expect the guitars to slam in hard (Underdog) they don't, though they do have weight behind them afterwards during the same song along with good separation. Almost as if dynamic range is reduced during the beginning of the song and then comes right back.. Tom Meighan's voice really captured that live sound so no complaints from me there. Since they sound good overall I'm pretty pleased (especially considering Kasabian's albums aren't known to be audiophile material in terms of AQ).
