You should include The Rocketeer too. There's definitely an aesthetic similarity as far as those three Touchstone films go.

Yes! If done right Dick Tracy would have some amazing pop from it's colors! Special features would be nice too. It's funny, I was just wondering when Roger would go to Blu

The last couple of years I've been hoping they'd put out a Blu release for its 25th anniversary. I'm incredibly glad to see its finally on its way.
Also, Bob Hoskins announced his retirement from acting today, so a big "thank you" to him for his fantastic performance as Eddie Valiant and his career as a whole. "When you wish upon a star

Yeah, so sad to hear about his diagnosis. I wish him the very best in retirement.

As for the film, its been a fave of mine for several years, and I'm hoping for a commentary by Robert Zemeckis. An actor commentary with Christopher Lloyd and Joanna Cassidy would be cool, especially if Mr. Hoskins decides to take part. But what would be truly awesome is a "toon track", with Charles Fleischer, Kathleen Turner, and Lou Hirsch in character. |

They continue to feature Roger Rabbit on the recent releases, e.g. Grosse Point Blank. Last edited by Tns49; 08-11-2012 at 12:48 AM. |

I never said it wasn't out already.
