The Cat in the Hat (because there was nothing else playing) and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. I guess that's balanced out my bombs.
"I'd rather be hated for who I am than to be loved for something that I'm not." -Kurt Cobain (1967-1994)

My stance on Anime...I just can't understand any of it, everyone is either a 10 year old girl or a monster.

Sometimes we hear of people who are “very” honest, “mostly” honest, or even “a little” honest.
Should we even use modifiers with the word honest? I don’t believe so. There are no degrees of honesty. Either we are honest or we aren't.

Three times actually. I LOVED that flick! I remember it had the coolest teaser trailer, too:

Well it's Wikipedia, so anybody who has a personal opinion of a film as a "bomb" can just add it to the list.

If you read the list, it's comparing the numbers of greatest budgets with least grosses, although the source is a little sketchy.
(How many fans would add "Town & Country" to the list, even though that happens to top the all-time budget-vs.-gross list?)

You're probably thinking of the IMDB Bottom 100, where half the fans add Mike-era MST3K episodes, and the other half add the Rotten Tomatoes 0% Club.

It's BoxOfficeMojo.com numbers: There's nothing that "should" be on the list unless it got there the good old-fashioned way. (Or if it came out after the late-80's, when BOM started keeping records--Wondered why "Howard the Duck" wasn't up there.)
I can see the thread-drift happening already....

I guess I'm lucky...I only did a quick scan of the list, but only Green Lantern.

I usually only see blockbuster movies in theaters, so that's why most of the movies I see hardly ever flop.
Favorite Comic Book Movies: 1. The Dark Knight 2. The Amazing Spider-Man 3. The Avengers 4. Spider-Man 2 5. Batman Begins 6. Iron Man 7. X-Men: First Class 8. Kick-Ass 9. The Incredible Hulk 10. Spider-Man

Chiefs - Purple Raiders - Cardinals - Indians - Buckeyes - Blue Jackets - Cavaliers

I'm lucky when I say I only saw a few of them in theaters...The 13th Warrior, Event Horizon, Speed Racer, and I think that's it...I'm picky on what to watch in theaters, so I like to make sure it's NOT gonna suck!

I didn't see any of those in theaters. I, of course, wanted to see Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, but never got around to it for some reason.

Like Speed Racer (well, not quite in the same way), that was a fairly good movie that suffered the guilt-by-association of movie fans going into frenzies over wacky bad-BO headlines, without taking other factors into account, and then dogpiling imagined bad reviews onto the movie for it.

Disney dumped Alamo into theaters in the throwaway "April of Death" slot to get it off the radar as soon as possible after all the troubled production headlines. (Including the early scare headlines that Billy Bob Thornton would supposedly historical-revisionist play Davy Crockett as a "coward", which was rewritten out by the final cut--He in fact plays a pretty darn good Crockett.)
Audiences immediately assumed the movie was "Pearl Harbor 2" and stayed away, and just about every headline wanting to punish Disney for their '01-'05 Eisner troubles HAD to point out "Home on the Range"'s bad box office the same month, and nearly always in the same sentence. Always.

We used to have a saying, in the early days of classic Japanese anime in the US: "Drugs would be CHEAPER".

Just sayin'. A little pop-culture literacy never hurts.

I've seen about 14 of them. Only one I really like, and bought the week it came out on BD, is Scott Pilgrim. I'm surprised MacGruber and John Carter aren't on that list. Otherwise, they'd be two more I bought as soon as they came out because I liked them a lot.
Top 10 Favorite Films: 1. The Dark Knight 2. The Departed 3. Pulp Fiction 4. The Empire Strikes Back 5. District 9 6. Casino Royale 7. The Shawshank Redemption 8. No Country For Old Men 9. The Lion King 10. The Lord of the Rings

From the list, I only counted four:

"Battlefield Earth"
"The Green Lantern"
"Speed Racer"
"Stealth"

In total, there's probably several more at the least.

Thankfully, there hasn't been a movie I've seen in the cinema that I outright hated.

Nothing can express the awfulness that was Battlefield Earth in theaters.

The biggest reason for seeing it in theaters was The Phantom Menace trailer that was in front of it.

I really enjoyed I-Spy. It was probably Eddie Murphy's last good film.
