Those are great prices, at about cost. But remember you will not get Pioneers warranty if you purchase one from him. Hopefully, he will back up the product if something goes wrong...

Ya i did not think about the warranty. i know they have cards you fill out to send in for the warranty, but do they ask about where you bought the receiver?

Actually, they're about $150 to $200 more than cost.

If you ever take the receiver in for service, you have to provide a receipt from an authorized dealer, online or store. There is a specific clause in Pioneers website about ebay sellers.

By the way, cost depends on the level of retailer you are. You get a better discount depending on how much you buy from Pioneer. Standard cost is $710on the Elite 92. Magnolia's and other tiered dealers probably get 10% off that.

Actually they are covered by Pioneer's Warranty, he is a Pioneer Dealer.

Where a etailer can work for the regular Pioneers it will not work with the Elites. The are made to be sold in B&M stores only and buying it online means you have no warranty. Look at One Call they are a authorized dealer but will only sell them in store for that reason.

Of course the way around it is if the person you buy it from is a authorized dealer and will ship it then you can use it. That is who the Pioneer store in Costa Mesa does it.

Wow , I was just looking at the 92 at Magnolia tonight down in Deleware. I was gonna buy it, but no came to help me out so I left the store. Humm, but this seems a little to good to be true? Someone talk me out of it.

got my 91txh for 800 from magnolia and im ok with that, no waranty concerns, and local service. i see the sales person face to face and if anything goes wrong i go to best buy. no ship it back and wait 3 weeks. online retailers are a good deal yes, but value... not so sure
