Is SUNSHINE ever coming to Blu-ray? - Blu-ray Forum

I know it's Fox and it's one of the better movies I've seen in the past year. Anyone have an idea?

There is a trailer for it on the 28 days later bluray disc and it says coming soon.... i say look for this title early next year Q1

Sunshine is scheduled on BD for Jan 4 in France, and it might be released earlier on some other territories.

If Europe has release dates for this Blu-ray, I think it's pretty safe to say that a US release is in the works too...

has this even came out on DVD yet ?? I remember seeing the trailer in theatres, and as much as i wanted to see it, i never heard of it again.

Play.com has the release date as 29/10/2007 here in the UK. Priced at £23.99 which seems a little expensive. Sendit.com has the same date and the price there is £22.89. Still not exactly a bargain but at least the postage is free from both sites.

It seems like a lot of people are asking for Sunshine on BD, yet the film only made around $3.5 million at the U.S. box office.

A very vocal minority I guess.

I wrote about this last week. Hollywood in High Def .com has the trailer running on their site and then the Blu Logo comes on at the end. This site has not be wrong with showing previews of coming titles.

Yes, the 28 Week Blu's came out last week, same studio and director so I would think sometime before the end of the year or the first part of the year. The DVD is already out in Europe.

Sunshine was a very small and fast release. It was only around about 2 weeks in a few hundred theaters, and later played second run in a few arthouses
