![]() The Funhouse Blu-ray - Pre-Order Sorry if there is a thread already. I search and did not fine one. There's some info posted in one or maybe two of the misc Shout/Scream Factory threads but thought maybe it was best to give this it's own thread to keep info more handy. Anamorphic Widescreen (2.35:1)/DTS Master Audio 5.1/1981/Color/96 minutes Release Date: October 16th 2012 IMDB: Link Quote:

No harm intended, there was. Concentrate much when tired and can't get to sleep, I don't.

![]() Below is what I'm talking about... are you sure the special features were mentioned a month ago? July 5th - Terror Train, The Funhouse Blu-ray Specs Are In July 5th - Scream Factory Unleashes Terror Train & The Funhouse on DVD & Blu-ray July 5th - NEW DISC DETAILS: “THE FUNHOUSE” AND “TERROR TRAIN” July 5th - The Scream Factory Bringing Terror Train and The Funhouse Home in October! The only info I remember from last month was the news that the movie was coming to Blu-Ray, and I guess the cover art. I wouldn't of looked around so much but after hearing about the commentary track on the Terror Train Blu-Ray, I decided to do some searching tonight. |

I just hope they keep the extras to a minimum. Shout has a habit of overloading their discs to the point where the movie (the most important part of the presentation) suffers considerably.
"The Big Doll House" has 8x the resolution of a standard DVD but only 2x the bitrate to accommodate a featurette most people won't watch once. "Walking Tall" Parts 1 and 2 are are crammed onto a single BD50 along with a documentary bringing the running time to 265min. In comparison, the 208 minute "Lord of the Rings" extended cut is spread across two BD50's. Heck they put out the "The Traveller & Telling Lies In America" on a single bd25. |
