I for one wouldn't miss the solo campaigns, but I know there are some that love them. It is in DICE's best interest to release games with both single and multi to get the biggest possible customer base.

You shut your mouth! No one enjoyed the BF3's solo campaign.

People did love the Bad Company(1 & 2) solo campaigns though. A new one of those with 4 player co-op would make a lot of people happy.

I played like the first solo mission of BC2, and never even fired up the BF3 offline.

I would say I'm probably new to the Battlefield series as I was late getting Bad Company 2 but I've been playing BF3 since release. I've seen not only on this forum but on others that people wanted Bad Company 3. I would like to know the reason behind this? Is it purely because of the campaign or do people think the MP is superior in the Bad Company series. For me Battlefield is all about the MP and I enjoyed both BFBC2 and BF3 but both have the same quality MP and both, while not amazing, have a ok campaign. So why do people want Bad Company 3, I don't understand

But Battlefield 1942 is the best Battlefield game ever.

People get way too hung up on the Bad Company in the title. It's made by the exact same freaking people. I loved Bad Company 2 as much as anyone could, and I still think it is moronic to say that it is superior to BF3. Some people just have rose colored glasses when looking at the past.
