I agree it looks.... Not that exciting. As a fan of the video game series I'll still pick it up to see for myself. As far as the endings to the 3rd game. I personally think they redeemed themselves with the extended edition DLC. It's not perfect, but universes better.

ugh, out of all the animation styles it has to be anime.
And regarding the ending of ME3. I didn't even have a problem with the original ending. To me the entire 3rd game was a grand finale and everything that mattered happened before the game ended. And I loved every bit of it. Having that said, the extended ending made a great game even better. really didn't understand the initial sh*tstorm about ME3. Sure if you don't like an ending to a series that you love (not that it is supposed to be the end of the series anyways, it's just the last episode for Shepard), that can suck. It happens. Sometimes even worse things happen in the world I'm afraid. |

The animation style looks too cartoony, and I don't like the the planet backgrounds seem to be completely CG. Still, I hope it's actually a decent movie.

What I wanted was closure. And while it wasn't the direction it should have gone in, I think what the ending is at this point in time is good enough. I'm over it now.

And I'm not bashing anime in general. There's some good stuff out there for sure. I just don't think that kind of style works when it comes to Mass Effect, is all. |

According to the Mass Effect Facebook & Twitter pages this has been delayed until December 28th. It wouldn't be Mass Effect without a delay or 2 right?

+ 1 on ME3's ending sucking ass.
With that said, the anime looks cool. I wish Dragon Age had been done like this instead of the animation style they chose. |

If you are focusing strictly on the last hour of a 90 to 100 hour saga, you missed the point. The Mass Effect saga had some pretty great highs and lows. Some of the best characters of any game I have ever played were in this series. ME 3 did a really good job of providing closure for each of Shepard's remainig crew members. I even got a little teary eyed with some. The game as whole was like a Stephen King book. Really good ride along the way, but the ending was not super great, but enough to get you through.
I am looking forward to this movie. The Dragon Age movie was surprisingly good. |

[Show spoiler] But yeah, even if Vega turned out to be an alright character, don't have much interest in learning more about him. Last edited by Booker Dewitt; 09-24-2012 at 03:53 PM. |

Hi, once your done flailing your arms around like an angry Domo character, you know take the time to replay ME3 again with the Extended Cut DLC and achive 3100+ in war assets. In my opinion,
Dont click if you havnt seen or played the game... [Show spoiler] I never saw the ending that made people so upset, but the Extended Cut DLC ending was perfectly good with me and man do I miss ME. I hope ME4 carries the torch in a good way. And ya, I have no interest in learning more about Vega. What a boring character. Last edited by Caesu; 11-05-2012 at 08:56 PM. |
