Deadwood Star Wars Three Colors
And I have been fortunate to escape what has been called “that form of snobbery which can accept the Literature of Entertainment in the Past, but only the Literature of the Enlightenment in the Present.” - Raymond Chandler
'Course I'm respectable. I'm old. Politicians, ugly buildings, and whor*s all get respectable if they last long enough. - Noah Cross |

Deadwood for me because it was the most expensive blind buy I ever had and I was 110% satisfied!
[Show spoiler]
I don't care for 3D at all. I am just fine with 2D blu-ray movies and my 2D 32" HDTV.
If you live in America, please buy American whenever possible to support our economy! |

Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica are up there as well.
Aren't you a little short for a Stormtrooper?

Star Wars: The Original Trilogy
It has great video and audio quality, a simple, standard case, and was fairly cheap (I paid about $18). Way too many of the box sets are in clunky case that provide little protection and are way overpriced. This includes Star Wars: The Complete Saga but I don't care about the extras or the prequel trilogy so there was no need to get that. The UK rerelease of the Alien Anthology was also nice, but the US version and the original UK release both had terrible cases. Also if TV seasons are counted as box sets: Most of the recent releases from WB have been great (since they switched to HD audio). Great video and audio, simple, standard cases, and efficient number of discs. My favorites are Shameless Season 1, Fringe Season 3, Supernatural Season 6, and Smallville Season 10. The Alien Anthology set would be my choice as well simply because it's the sexiest in my collection and it truly is a definitive release.

The Star Wars set, even if the Star Wars geek in me would have prefer something even bigger with all the different versions of the movies, more special features and the Holliday Special included in the set.
