Love that they're including the Daniel Bryan match!

Punk was 100% hands-on for this entire project, so I am very much looking forward to it. Everything from match selection to bonus footage to music was all picked by him personally.
I hope this sells well and sets a precedent for others to follow. I figure if WWE is willing to invest in an all-out DVD/Blu set on a wrestler (not just a bargain "Superstar Collection"), said wrestler would have the leeway and freedom to be involved as much as they care to be. |

This is very similar to the WCW "Superstar Series" they had back in 98-99 from Hulk Hogan, Best of Bash at the Beach, nWo, Ric Flair, DDP, Savage, Goldberg, etc. WWE use to do this too with budget Coliseum video releases. Back in the 80s-90s Coliseum video tapes such as PPVs and "Best of's" were expensive in the $40-$50 range so they released several 60 minute budget tapes that were $15-$20.

probably the ONLY new, modern-day era wrestler i like. A rare gem with a personality and the "it" factor that is so rare in that business today, practically no one else has it.
Is his "infamous rant" from last year going to be on this??? |

And there are a few other guys going right now that have personality and "it". Cody Rhodes and Daniel Bryan, just to name two.

It better be, thats worth the price of admission alone....although i do disagree with your last statement (respectfully, of course). They're both, just "eh..." compared to the colorful starpower of the many late 80's through about 2000, 2001 era. The ones i really feel sorry for are the fans. They barely have anything anymore. |

I'm thinking they may take one of the other 2 for Best Matches.

The only problem I have with this set is that it doesn't include any talking segments he had, and he had a lot of great talking segments on Raw and 1 on SmackDown in 2011, it doesn't have a single one. Even though they're almost all available on separate Blu-Ray releases, some are on UK Blu-Ray releases. I thought for sure they would include all or most of them on this. And Jericho vs. Punk @ Extreme Rules 2012 was way better than their match at WrestleMania. I know he chose it because it was his first title match at WrestleMania, but it wasn't even in the main event, and it was kind of boring.
