Isn't it too late to release a Terminator Anthology, since all the movies have been release on blu-ray for years now? Everybody should already have all the Terminator movies on blu-ray in their collection, if they wanted them.

It's good for people that are just upgrading to blu-ray.

again, i'm not 100% sure that T1 is the much-anticipated remastered edition, but the fact that it contains all the special features from the DVD that were never ported over to the original BD release leads me to believe that this is indeed the new definitive version... w/ release being just a few weeks away, hopefully we'll get some specs soon.

It doesn't even need to be remastered exactly to be clearly better than the first release. Just re-encoded on an AVC codec instead of the primitive MPEG2 of the first release. This, along with a higher bit rate and all the extras, would be reason enough to double dip. But obviously, a new master would be even better.

I'm sure Best Buy will charge too much, however if there is a new transfer for T1 I will pick up without a doubt.

Looks pretty slick. I'm hoping it folds together so that it's in the correct order though.

It looks like the digipak is turned on the back side to show the art but I think it will be a Game of Thrones: Season One box set type of fold job.

I agree. This makes no sense that it would not even be on the website yet.

Yeah but rumors are flowing that this set has the remaster of Terminator. So I'm just waiting to hear for sure. If it does I'm at BBY first thing that Tuesday morning (price pending of course)

It occurs to me that if this was in fact a new T1 remaster, wouldn't you think that the studio would have advertised it already as such? I mean, after all this is Terminator we are talking here.....Total Recall it's not on the same level (as far as popularity) as the Terminator series and ever since Lionsgate announced the Mind Bending Edition, their main selling point was the director's approved remastered picture. So, at his point, if the Studios/Best Buy has not made any comments whatsoever on the details of this box set, I just don't think it will contain a remastered edition of any of the Terminator films. Also, if there is indeed a new T1 remaster, where is James Cameron in all of this? Has he said anything about a new remaster?

Unfortunately I'm sure ur right. And BBY will probably come up with some off the wall price point anyway like $59.99 or something ridiculous like that. And that's only if they even carry it in stores. Might be an online only exclusive.
