Same thing happens every year--
I skip the holiday-themed movie just to catch it next year on disk, and by the time it comes out next Christmas, I completely forgot it came out last Christmas.
I assume the 3-D version will be announced soon?

I'll wait for the price to go down when it comes out. To me $28.96 since too akward a list price and considering what ALL is coming out this year, just want to afford food!

I can't wait to own this, but I'm going to have to wait for the price to come down a bit. I hope the release week price will be a little better.

Holiday animated classic. Day one, no question.
"Because he's the hero that Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now... and so we'll hunt him... because he can take it... because he's not a hero... he's a silent guardian, a watchful protector... a DARK KNIGHT."

My prediction; this film, in future decades, will play along side Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, Grinch, and Charlie Brown's Christmas every holiday season.

It's that good.

i wish British animated films would do better. This only made $46M and Pirates $31M. They're both awesome.

Honestly I loved this movie! It was snubbed by the oscars and is definitely a worthy yearly tradition. It was my favorite animated movie of 2011, just thought I share that

I saw Arthur Christmas in theaters last year, and I swear, I was literally the only person in the entire theater. Granted, I saw it on a Tuesday afternoon, but still. I guess kids wanted to see Alvin eat his brother's poo one more time.

Great Christmas movie. I was getting worried it would only be released in the UK! With the Muppets Christmas Carol, Arthur Christmas, and Prep & Landing coming out, this will be a great Christmas season for movies!!

I'll buy anything Aardman and enjoyed this quite a bit. Day one for me. I really wish some of their other big productions like Shaun the Sheep, Were-Rabbit and Chicken Run would find they way to Blu.
