This was a very nice surprise to wake up to. One of my all-time favorite movies. Neeson and Rush give incredible performances in this.

It's not a bad movie but in my case I saw the French 1958 version long before seeing this and Jean Gabin is the only Jean Valjean

Still good that this is coming out, the French version might be release one day

I figured the best chance for a Blu release of this would be timed to the musical version's release.

Great film, and since the DVD was non-anamorphic, all the better.

Liam Neeson and Geoffrey Rush give two of my absolute favorite performances ever, and the score by Basil Poledouris is magnificent.

I don't suppose we'll be able to expect new extras, but I hope they do a proper transfer that does the film justice. Given that it's Sony, I'm not too worried on that score.

Picked this up at MovieStop today for $9.99. Not sure how long it will be at this price. Its tagged $16.99 but rang up at $9.99 - the cashier said it was on sale. Great price if you are interested in picking this up and have a MovieStop near by.
