I don't care about the remasters. I want the extended editions of all three movies. They cut out a lot of scenes in TDKR, and I want those scenes added to make an ultimate version! They cut out Bane's origin story or something along those lines. I have to see it!

There is nothing "ultimate" about this set.

Check your Batman Begins discs. My set is numbered in the 24,000 and the truehd track shuts off at 2:08:11, give or take a few seconds.

I don't know if anyone posted this, but it sums up my feelings about this set.

As much as I know that the films need a new transfer, why do some compare the current transfers with the trailers? Don't they know that the trailers were done before the final look of the film was made?

I'm actually typically a sucker for memorabilia, evident by the fact that I picked up the Marvel Briefcase despite a pointless bonus disc in that set, but the stuff they have in here does not appeal to me at all and seems like a lack of effort from my point of view.

I'm good with the blus I have of this series. If they ever release DC's of the movies, I'll rebuy em. Till then, nah.

Finished The Batmobile documentary last night, never saw it until getting the set. Surprised by how emotional it got near the end! It helped that I saw the cars when I visited WB earlier this year.

On the subject of the Hot Wheels toys, I've grown to like them. They look nice on my shelf, they're bigger than I expected, and they're far from "happy meal toys" as some are snarkily referring to them as. Checking on toy sites, the msrp is $16 and they typically go for around $8 each. The Batpod is gold and black, because the only versions Hot Wheels has produced is an inaccurate all black version in 2008, the gold version seen in this set released in '09 and a silver and black version released in 2013. The Batpod itself is actually not black, nor is it silver or gold. It's more of a darker, warmer, silver which I suspect Mattel had trouble matching: http://collider.com/wp-content/uploa...ight-rises.jpg

I'd still prefer something else to them, but users here need to stop belittling those who purchased the set by pointing out that it includes three toy vehicles (lolz u lyke happi mealz toyz?? lololz enjoy ur shitty set. imma wayt 3 munths fur it 2 drawp en pryce).

Is it only me or does the audio on the The Dark Knight IMAX scenes from the bonus disc not sync'd? I have a little audio delay and the sound comes from my TV and not the Home Theatre

Just received the set, looks fantastic. Love the book included and the poster art cards. It is numbered 14,470 out of 141,500. So looks like I have the smallet number so far in this topic

Anyway looks great on my shelf. There are few movies which I will buy over and over, this trilogy is one of them.

Unfortunately, I have #12,706. So until a lower number appears...

Why do I have this sneaking suspicion that you only posted this because you thought your set was the lowest-numbered of the whole thread thus far? Like, if you didn't think it was, would you still have posted this?

That sentence about your number sticks out like a frostbitten nose.

So my number is not the lowest, still nice to have it in the ten thousands

BTW, just finished the Fire Rises documentary and have to say I am very impressed. It managed to hold my attention for the whole duration which is not an easy task after seeing so many other documentaries on other films.
You get to see a lot of production footage and interesting interviews at a nice pace. Also very strange seeing other actors' screen test for Batman, Cillian Murphy would have been interesting, but the other actor Eion Bailey seemed a good Bruce Wayne but a terrible Batman, his "Swear to Me" line was very campy in normal voice. Say what you will about Bale's voice but it contributes a lot to the Batman character.
Also liked Michael Mann's little bit about the quality of the trilogy that will be even more apparent as the time goes by. Can't argue with that.

I did honestly. I have been following this thread and thought I have seen a number in the 17 thousand range as the lowest. But I really was genuinely surprised by the quality of the box and decided to share as well. I hope no harm was done

The only relevant number is #1. The rest are all the same.
