Default return to house on haunted hill 96 times

i brought this film this week and we watched it today pq and sound was very good. (my wife loves horror) sigh
but what i was impressed with was you could change the film and outcome up to 96 times where as the film during this play back asks questions as the film plays.
neat stuff.

it is very cool stuff. what you described is called seemless branching for future reference. so if you see somebody talking about seemless branching thats what it is. Steven Spielberg's Close Encounters is going to be using the same technology. right now i believe only blu-ray can do this, not hd dvd.

evidently, HD-DVD can do "seamless", but is not as "seamless" as the BD version (i.e. clunkier, longer pause times).

Final Destination 3 on DVD had a feature where you could choose and change certain situations. I don't think it worked as well as the Return the House on Haunted Hill did with its seamless branching. I also believe the choices on Final Destination 3 were more immediate and had no real effect on the final out come on the film where as Return actually has different variations of the ending.

There were not as many choose what happens situations on Return to House on Haunted Hill as I expected or really wanted. But it was not a bad experiance. I was just expecting a little more variation and control.
