The Apparition Blu-ray This stinker, starring Ashley Green and Sebastian Stan, hits shelves November 27th. BD+DVD+UV is the only option listed on Amazon so far at $19.99
I have no tolerance for airheads.

What? I've heard it was horribly generic, unscary and terrible. It has a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes meaning no critics liked it at all. I know four people that saw it and said the audience booed the film and everyone wanted their money back.

I liked The Possession more. I thought the first maybe 30 mins of The Apparition was decent but then it just started to go downhill and didn't stop.

Where do you order your movies from? Obviously you posted the picture to show you got it early so I will ask the inevitable! The only place I have ever got something early is importcds.com. Did you order those from deepdiscount.com?
I haven't seen this yet but I am sure I will like it...I like pretty much all horror. |

One of the worst movies I've seen this year. I can't remember if I nodded off once or twice. Right down there with The Raven, Chernobyl Diaries and That's My Boy as the worst of the year. Yuck.

As a horror movie?? No.
82 minutes of Ashley Greene... They should have just called this 82 minutes of Ashley Greene In Shorts I absolutely loved that it was only slightly over an hour and I wish more movies were this short. Again...The movie...not scary...not good...not well written and the characters (especially the male characters) were a joke. Ashley Greene....AMAZING. |

So I finally got around to seeing this. Rented it from Netflix. Absolutely awful! I didn't like it at all. I love Ashley Greene, but I was not a fan of this, so I have to give it a
NEW PARAMORE ALBUM IN STORES NOW!

I've seen worse. Overall, yeah the movie is a big "meh" but early on there were a few effective moments, but in the end it never amounts to anything and the apparition itself is never explained in any kind of way that actually connects to the ghostly actions onscreen.
There IS a very nice electronic score by tomandandy that has a very nice John Carpenter vibe at times. And Ashley Green has a nice butt which is on display. But as a lover of paranormal / ghost/ cryptid movies, this one is a miss |

Worst movie I've seen in a while, even Ashley's cute ass couldn't make me want to watch this again. I was calling out the movie's next shot almost the whole way through. All I did was think of the dumbest shit I could, and the movie followed! I almost hit the floor when I joked about "we'll just do the ceremony in reverse, and that will send the evil back" and 2 minutes later Mr. Exposition character says the same thing! Only good thing about this was the unintentional laughs it brought, but I still want my 70 minutes back, except the 5 or so Ashley's butt. Epic fail on almost every level, avoid at all costs. It's bad when you get to see a movie free and still feel you got robbed, that is The Apparition to me. They just stole ideas and scenes from other films, threw in a blender and this is the pile of goopy shit that came out. Had the tagline on the cover had anything to do with anything, it could've been decent.
