The thickest one to date since it's not only a 3-disc set, but has 88 pages in it.

No, there have a few 3-Disc digibooks released already, including the recently released Blade Runner 30th Anniversary digibook.

Here's a pic of my Clone Wars Season One 3-disc digi vs Season Three's standard case. The digibook has 68 pages, so you can imagine for yourself what an additional 20 pages may look like

I meant 3 different one disc digibooks, but from what I see there it could be very much right. Thanks for the picture!

Ah, I see what you were asking now. I'm not sure if there's a standard size for digibooks (Fox's are very thin for instance), but two of my Warner single disc ones are about the same thickness as that 3-disc clone wars one, so if I had to guess I say Jazz Singer would be about the size of 2 1/4 single-disc digibooks. In any event, it's going to be pretty thick

with all the extras thats what I'm all excited about...they could have just released the film and a few extras and I think most of us would be happy.

But, they went all out on the transfer and putting all the rare stuff on the DVDs AND that HUGE book, errr encyclopedia

Fantastic set. I never thought I'd hear myself say this but, I may stick with the DVD set, which appears to be the same disc 2 and 3. I almost never watch the feature but seem to watch the extras and Vitaphone shorts a lot. The closest thing to a time machine I've ever seen!

How hard would it be for them to put those on blu anyway?

Plus the DVD set has some nicest packaging and materials (photo cards, programs, etc) that I'll never part ways with it. I'm sure the digibook will be awesome. If this hits the 14.99 range I'll certainly add it the collection for the 1080p feature but otherwise I'm kind of bummed. This really could have been a home run. For those who missed the DVD set definitely get this.

I do not have the dvd set so the extra dvds will surely be a treat for me. I can see myself spending my whole weekend with this.

I've been eyeing this as well, but the UK steelbook release also looks pretty attractive.

I might have to wait for reviews, I think. What will decide it for me will be the transfer(s) (whether the UK release uses the same transfer or a different one, as it did with Citizen Kane), and how many discs/inclusions make it to the UK release.

I'm sure the UK steelbook will not have all the extras that the US DigiBook has, impossible at the price the WB classic steelbooks are at...they'll be 1 BD steelbooks
