An all-new chapter in the “Battlestar Galactica” saga, Blood & Chrome takes place in the midst of the first Cylon war. Universal Studios Home Entertainment is releasing Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Battle...Blu-ray/59295/ (part one of which debuts on Machinima tomorrow) on Blu-ray/DVD Combo and DVD in early 2013 and in fact they’ve now officially announced the title with a street date of 2/19 (SRP $34.98 and $29.98)! Both versions will offer a 97-minute unrated edition of the film. Extras on both will include the Blood & Chrome Visual Effects featurette as well as 6 deleted scenes. The Blu-ray will also add 7 more exclusive deleted scenes. Nice. They’re now available for pre-order on Amazon.com. Preorder here. Cool news indeed!

That's not where I got it from. I searched on there for Battlestar Galactica and nothing was listed for Blood & Chrome. I saw the pre-order on here before then, then I searched for the cover and press release on Yahoo.

Just nice to post credit ... lols ... at any rate, this new series, or whatever you want to call it, looks actually to be better than the 2004 series. Love the fact that the producers for the series are going back to the original design for the Cylon Base Stars, the raiders and the Colonial Vipers. This is how the 2004 series should have went.

Paying homage to the original 1978 series while updating it for a new generation of fans. Awesome! Hopefully, this will turn into a new TV series. lols
