The Fog..any possibility of a re-master? - Blu-ray Forum

Just watched this movie again yesterday on dvd and still like it enough to buy it in HD. Anyone know if a re-master of the blu could possibly be in the works? I heard that the BD offered now was a 1k scan and shows poorly.

Yeah, everybody and my cousin like this movie so there should be enough of a demand I would imagine.

I own the UK release and while it's a rather poor transfer for a BD it's still noticeably better than the DVD. I'd give it somewhere around 4-5/10 for PQ.

Hopefully on Friday we will have good news about a BD.

Well if it's noticeably better than the dvd, I might as well grab it for now for my collection in case the re-master never happens since it's going fairly cheap. Thanks.
