I've been waiting for this ever since I caught it on TCM one morning! And I'm blown away its MOD!

I'm looking forward to owning this, and so soon, to boot. It's not the definitive version of the show (I admit I prefer the Bette Midler TV version), but it's still a lot of fun. I wonder if this will use the existing master or if it will garner a new one. Judging by the suddenness of this release, I'm guessing the former.

That's a nice surprise. I just ordered it. I'm assuming that the quality will be good since it is Warner and the Warner Archive MOD DVDs have been good quality.

Besides Deathtrap, does anyone know what other titles they are planning to release on Blu-ray?

I just hope these Blu-rays are compatible with all players so that they don't cause problems like the newer Twilight Time Blu-rays which don't play on some players that don't get updated firmware (for people with multi-region Blu-ray players that can't update firmware without losing multi-region compatibility).

btw: Warner has now confirmed via Fakebook that these titles will be "regular" pressed blu-rays--NOT bd-r's.

I think MOD is a little misleading here. They're going to run off small batches and if they run low they'll run off another small batch.

It's not like they're going to whip up my copy of Deathtrap just for me.

If you live close to an. American border they usually have parcel delivery places that's how I order us only releases/sales! They usually charge about $3 per package.
