Default What do you do with your ultraviolet codes?

Ive sold some in the past .. thinking about just using them before they expire.

I dont want to waste them but I dont see myself watching them. Why would I ever watch the ultraviolet copy when I have the blu-ray?

And for those that use them, how often do you find yourself watching the UV copy instead of the blu-ray?

Not much use since I live in Canada. If anyone wants UV copy of Drive, PM me.
The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass... And then you see it. White shores... and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.

We end up watching more UV movies on Vudu than we do on BluRay. I've even converted a number of my favorite DVDs and BluRay's to UV using Vudu's disk to digital program.

Why would you say that is? Just convenience? Or is it really pretty close to Blu-ray quality?

I use all my codes & give access to family & friends. This keeps me from having to loan out my blus' LOL!

It is more for convenience, the family room where we watch TV the most doesn't have a BluRay player but, we have a Xbox so we will watch a movie on the Xbox. It's not the same as BluRay quality but, it's good enough to watch and enjoy. Personally I think that movies going digital is the future, just like music went from CDs to MP3 digital downloads.

I use them for the convenience of having the movie available anywhere I go. I've enjoyed having movies available to me on my laptop while I'm at a hotel (without having to spend the time waiting for a download to finish).

Used to let em rot, then gave em away, then I found this site and found some want them enough to spend a buck or 2, so I started selling, but selling cheap.

I don't do anything with mine. I'd give them away if I knew somebody who wanted them.

I used to let them expire but then realized they are perfect. I'm in the Air Force and when I deploy or go TDY they are perfect to have.

I love using VUDU on ps3 and the UV apps on other devices so I've amassed some nice instant streams. The VUDU copies are always in HDX so I'm loving that!

They are all still sitting in their respective cases. If I really want a digital copy I will make my own.
