I was hoping with this being released that Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider would see blu-ray releases (I'm aware that there is an Italian version of Along Came a Spider), but unfortunately not .

I may rent this. I don't like Tyler Perry much. I do wish they had cast Idris Elba instead.

With Tyler Perry in the lead role, I cannot resist the temptation to refer to this as Alex Cross Dresser.

I actually sat through this movie and it wasn't all that good. Warning bells went off when I saw the name Rob Cohen. I really don't like the movies he has directed - hated XXX with Vin Diesel. I was interested in seeing Tyler Perry act out someone else's script. And it's not that he's a bad actor, but he just isn't right for the part. Having read the books he could do the sensitive side fine. However, Cross is suppose to be very, very fit which Perry isn't either. So it's hard to watch him take on Mathew Fox who was ripped to the nines and not think he should have had the stuffing beat out of him. Other problems too like Ed Burn's character from black in the book to white in the movie. Rachel Nichols is not good in the movie at all. This movie just didn't work.

I'm hesitant to rent this as I can't stand his Madea junk. I suppose if I am bored enough I will.

The tagline for this movie is: "Don't Cross Alex Cross"

That right there puts me off, looks like a terrible movie.

The only good thing about this film was Matthew Fox. The rest was just so boring and poorly structured.

After seeing the great Morgan Freeman play Alex Cross in the last two films, this was just a slap in the face to the source material and the audience. We deserved better, so did Alex Cross.

The less people watch him, the quicker he will go away. Martin Lawrence should get a check for every Madea movie ever made.
