The acting and effects look pretty laughable. Way funnier than the new Scary Movie trailer at least. And the scene where she smashes her head against the sliding glass door, look horrendously fake. Not sure if it's a really bad practical effect or a really bad cgi effect. But it just looks bad.
Bat-Mite: "Batman's rich history allows him to be interpreted in a multitude of ways. To be sure, this is a lighter incarnation, but is certainly no less valid and true to the character's roots then the tortured avenger, crying out for mommy and daddy."

So did I. But I'm not sure that's the effect a scary movie should be eliciting.

They wouldn't write, film, and edit that not knowing it would cause laughs.

Heh. There's a lot of movies with laughable effects like this. Especially cheap horror movies.

Maybe it will be better than the trailer shows.
They showed this film for screen tests in a few places and it did well. It would've been nice to see them fork out a little more money for better talent in my opinion. |

Fair enough. I can't tell you how many times I've been invited to screenings of this. Passed on all. And that was before the head-banging trailer...

I hope reviews are decent. It's been awhile since we had a decent alien movie.

This is definitely the next Happening. An absolutely awful, but bizarelly hilarious, clusterf*** of a movie. Count me in!

Wow, two cringe moments in the first 5 seconds -- one is the phrase "get your butt home", which just sounds weird, and the second is when he says "that's what save buttons are for." I can imagine the studio heads now: "If we insert game references into this, kids'll love it! What's hot at the moment? Modern Warfare!"
Looks terrible, and I quite enjoyed Priest, so that's something.

"Honey.... Did you do this?" "Three seperate migration patterns." *bangs head against window* "What....the hell.... is WRONG with you people" *bizarre open mouth expression* And of course, my personal favorite, "These marks....appear to have been made....with a brand." This does look terrible, but I think it will be great for unintentional laughs.
