This one looked funny on the ads. I liked the Scary Movies, Superhero Movie, Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, Paranormal Activity movies, so maybe...
It's gotta be better than "30 Nights of Paranormal Activity with the Devil Inside the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" Maybe rent first on Pay-Per-View before buying. |

I thought it was pretty damn entertaining.
Marty: Statistical fact: Cops will never pull over a man with a huge bong in his car. Why? They fear this man. They know he sees further than they and he will bind them with ancient logics.

Me and my fiancé went to see this at the theatre...I went with low expectations but we actually laughed and had fun the whole way thru....Everyone in the theatre was losing it lol. Will be buying when it comes out for sure...I liked it better than most of the scary movies also.

Recieved an advanced copy the other day, watching it now, it's ok, just as long as you leave off your thinking-cap. P/Q is good overall, just a little dark in some scenes, like the blue/night vision scenes. Not complaining though. Haven't had the time to check out the extras.
I saw very little advertising for this film, then again I wasn't exactly anticipating this movie...it came and went very quickly but what surprises me the most is that this film was a success at the box office. $40 million gross on an $18 million dollar budget, rentals, PPV/Cable rights alone will help turn in an extra profit. Funny but true

This movie was okay. Better than I expected. Still not a good movie, but it had me laughing here and there. But since it's only spoofing PA is gets pretty boring fast and some of the jokes drag on for too long. Overall I like spoofs like Scary Movie better, because they have a wider range. They can spoof more films, and yet don't lose track of their main parody like Scream or The Haunting. Also Anna Faris is just gold in them. Still have to see Scary Movie 5 though, which I hear is extremly bad. But back to A Haunted House. I might even pick this one up in a couple of months when it's avaible for little money.

This site gave the movie a 0.5 rating. We rented it over the weekend, and while it's not a great movie, there were quite a few moment where we laughed out loud at the sheer absurdity. However, it completely lost steam by the end, and once it was over, it was forgotten. Still good for a few laughs, though.
