I have been waiting so long for Dirty Mary Crazy Larry to be released on blu-ray. Kind of a bummer it's being released as a double feature on one disc. Still buying day 1.

I remember watching Race with the Devil on HBO all the time as a kid.

I'm actually more excited for Race with the Devil than Dirty Mary Crazzy Larry. But both good films, although I predict that it will sit half watched just like Puppet Master on my Deep Rising disc and Timecop on my Bloodsport disc.

I really wish they had paired Race with another horror film, as I have zero interest in drive-in action fare like Dirty. Since the two were already released together as a double-feature disc, it does make sense to keep them together on BD. There are a few Corman double-feature discs I'd buy on BD, like The Evil/Twice Dead and the above-average Jackson County Jail/Caged Heat two-fer. Of course, the most welcome release would be a Not of this Earth/Attack of the Crab Monsters upgrade, but I know that is an impossible dream.

hopefully we will get a "Eat My Dust"/"Grand Theft Auto" Ron Howard 2 fer from Shout

hopefully Shout will release "Dragnet 67-70" on blu, a great police TV series shot in Technicolor

Race With The Devil has Loretta Swit in a rare non MASH role, I don't remember her being in many films, the only other films I can remember her in was "Freebie and The Bean", "SOB"
, a low budget film called "Beer" which had David Allen Grier in one of his first films

most recently she was in a the Chuck Norris film called "Forest Warrior"

This is good news. I've always been meaning to buy Dirty Mary but could never bring myself to do so. I enjoyed the heck out of RWTD so I'll grab this release for that alone. Now I'll finally see the former

Yes!

I own the Shout Factory DVD edition of Dirty Mary Crazy Larry/Race With The Devil, but I will be upgrading these to Blu-ray right away. These movies are both spectacular.

These movies work well back to back, since they're both Peter Fonda films with rocking car chase scenes.

i'll be waiting for reviews to see the quality of these as it's a double feature.

would like other 70's crime, decent odd american stuff from the past - hard to describe of what type, other that to say 'dirty mary' rings my bell.
