The embarassing thing about this release is Lionsgate actually has quality comic book movies they could have included in place of some of the crap here: Dredd, Sin City

If u never wanted to own these individually then this would be a cool lumped together package.

Kick Ass has repeat quality.

The rest dont. I already own Conan ,Spirit & Punisher.

I wouldn't consider Conan a comic book movie. He's a pulp character. Although, yes, he's been in comics for decades.

If I didn't already own all those films, I'd be inclined to get this. I wonder if it will have special packaging?

I feel like it will be similar to the Nolan set.

They did return to the Pulp roots for this Conan but Conan's modern spark started after the Arnold's movie that came from the Comics cult following.

Arnie's Conan wasnt made as a homage to the Pulp Conan but the Barry Winsdor Smith Marvel Conan.

In the late 70's and very early 80's Conan was well represented in Marvel and on newspaper stands.

And we are squarely still in the Comic Book Movie Era.

Kick-Ass is pretty good, The Crow is good, and The Punisher is alright.

I already own the first two and will likely buy the latter someday, so this set is worthless to me because of that and the fact I have no desire to ever watch The Spirit again. Conan is a guilty pleasure, but I'd just buy it individually if I ever got the desire to. It's been cheap frequently of late, including right now.

Yeah don't expect that from Lionsgate. Expact either a slipbox with full size amaray cases in it, or a single 5 disc amaray case with all the movies in it.

Yeah, this coleection is underwhelming. I just watched Kick-Ass again and forgot how truly good that movie was. The rest are lame with The Spirit ranking as on fo the worst comic adaptations ever. Really dumb and boring.

If anyone wants a good comic book movie box set, check out the Reel Heroes boxset from the UK. The cover and box art are actually stylized like comic books, and the movies included are all pretty enjoyable, and have a bunch of extras. They're all region free too.
