Still have a couple VUDU code's from my friends tickets if anyone wants to trade anything for them.
I mean don't get me wrong, I liked the movie a lot (Strong really good/Weak great) and there were A LOT of things could have benefitted from more time, such as Perry White and Jenny Olsen's relationship, but I felt there were parts already that dragged on. I really don't want to see another 3 hour Superman movie, after rewatching Superman(1978), 2 and Returns again I say that with trimming Returns could have been the best Superman movie yet (pre MoS).

I don't think marketing was that great for the Wal-Mart release. But I didn't want to see it at midnight, so I was happy. My friend wanted to bring one of his friends tho, and today Wal-Mart told him it was sold out, but there was probably less than 50 people there. It wasn't actually sold out at all

I did the Vudu pre-order from the Walmart movie ticket promo and it mentioned that I should receive my order on 11/1. If that date sticks, then this will be a Friday release.

I was dying of LULZ because before the movie today, the theatre played an ad that stated "SEE MAN OF STEEL IN THEATRES THEN DRIVE OVER TO WALMART TO PREORDER IT ON BLURAY AND DVD TODAY!!!!"

I HATED the Wal-Mart promos before this screening. They just kept showing snipits from the movie and kept talking about themselves. Ugh! If wal-mart tries this again, and stops selling tickets before a theater is sold out, I won't be going next time.

Is the pre-order only available to people who bought the Wal-Mart tickets? The Wal-Mart near me doesn't have any pre-order slips yet.

Someone zoomed into "Jenny's" nametag and said her last name was "Jurwich", on the movie thread.

Few updated pics on the Man of Steel Blu Ray exclusive pre order i posted on earlier in this thread. i now have pics of the hologram card, just like the Hobbit cards previously. Still doesn't state if its good on 3d, 2d, or both. I am more and more thinking that the 3d version of Man of Steel will be a retailer exclusive. Why else would the walmart card not mention a 3d or ever 2d specific version anywhere on it?

Anyways, Pictures are attached. It is a sweet collectible. Almost picked one up myself. Except for 24.96 im sure i can find this cheaper elsewhere day of release.

Wal-Mart will probably be doing a digibook for Man Of Steel like they did for The Hobbit.

I will definitely be getting the one with the nicer cover this time around. Btw, if this is going to be the default MoS thread, shouldn't the title be changed?

These Walmart lenticulars should be magnets like the ones you find on overseas steelbooks and ideally the exclusive would be a steelbook so you can complete it.

I did the pre-order today and I can confirm that the lenticular IS a magnet and happens to be the size of a steelbook, so it looks like a pretty safe bet that the exclusive packaging will be a steelbook.

I'm curious if the exclusive packaging is "pre-order exclusive" or "wal-mart exclusive" -- If the former, I may grab a few more copies.
