Wild Side.. Possibly forced subs then but I want! Watched the DVD again recently and still stands out as one of the great classic horrors.

Damn, I hope they don't force subs. I want this so bad on Blu.

Definite pick up if no forced subtitles; I know in the US and maybe elsewhere its Curse of the Demons but to me this will always be Night of the Demons!

Damn, this is excellent but bad news. No way I can swing €30+ on this one, even if it is a favorite. I'll have to hold out for a more affordable and English friendly release.

I'm really looking forward to this release so hoping for no forced English subtitles!

I genuinely dislike every cover art of the 4 titles which, so far, are part of this new collection from Wild Side, but the content easily makes up for it.
(and it's DVD sized. )

Fortunately, cover artwork isn't a focus for me. However, I'm surprised a French company couldn't do better, especially considering the excellent visuals available for this. Oh well.

It is indeed very surprising, but what's very surprising is the choice of Wild Side to settle with this awful graphic chart and bad choice of stills, making this looking pretty cheap.
Anyway.

Great movie, but 30 euros(plus p&p)! They're having a laugh (as they'd say in Eastenders). And I'm not interested in Curse Of The Demon, which is just the cut-down version of Night. I'll wait 'till it's a sensible price.

2 cuts, dual format + 128p book for 30€. Usual price in France.
But it might come down a bit. La rivičre rouge went as low as 22€.

This will be on TCMHD on 9/28 at 11:45 PM EST. Unfortunately it will be the shorter US version.

Wow, that's a drag! I just got TCM the other week (never even had basic cable before), so not too familiar with them or their broadcasts - will it be upscaled SD then? Is there a way to tell (before setting the DVR) which films will be 1080i, and which will only be 720p?

Edit: I've got a bunch of their broadcasts set to record on my DVR, but don't want to clog it up with standard def broadcasts, many of which I already have on DVD anyway.

TCM-HD plays whatever they are given or have on hand. They've played BLOOD ON SATAN'S CLAW in true HD and it looked fantastic (of course, Odeon released BOSC on blu a few months ago)....but I can confirm that CURSE OF THE DEMONS was upscaled.

Well that's annoying. So there's no way to tell beforehand? On my DVR/channel listing, everything on TCM (including Demon) says HD.
