Geez, I've been playing with tech gear for so long I can't believe I'm posting this
So dang it, what am I doing wrong? 1) I have the PS3 hooked to the 805's HDMI IN 1. No other connections on PS3 other than the power cable. 2) PS3 is configured as HDMI out for Video and Audio. 3) I assigned HDMI IN 1 to Game/TV in the 805 HDMI Input assign menu. 4) I assigned HDMI IN 1 to Game/TV in the 805 Digital Input menu. 5) Nothing else is assigned to HDMI IN 1 other than the above. When I select the Game/TV source on the 805 and power up the PS3, it says "No Signal" on the 805 display. If I reconnect the PS3 to my TV's HDMI input, I get video and audio just fine. I don' t get it, I set up my component devices in the same manner using the Component Input menu, and those all work fine over the 805's HDMI out (look like crap, though, I might add

I have a 605 so it sounds like the same setup. You do have the 805 hdmi out connected to your monitor, right? Your monitor is on also? Isn't there an option to set the reciever's hdmi output? You didn't mention if you had set that.I noticed that when I try to listen to sacd's witht he ps3 and then turn the monitor off I get no signal. Something going on with the hdmi handshake maybe.

Ahh... nevermind. I don't know what the deal was. I reconnected everything to HDMI2, then reconnected back to HDMI1 and it's fine now. I must have done something wrong earlier, or who knows, maybe after powering everything off/on for the 100th time took care of it.
Funny, I didn't see a Microsoft logo anywhere on the HDMI inputs edit: FINALLY! I get to enjoy some lossless audio... never been there before so I'll certainly be glued in front of the tv the rest of the night.
