Exclamation ATTN: WBShop Order fulfiller hacked, Check your CC's

This is probably best for the retall section, but not everyone looks there. If you ordered anything at WBShop in the past year (but more likely from June onward), it's quite possible that your credit card and other information stored has been compromised. Datapak, the company that fulfills orders for WBShop has been hacked in March, and myself and several others on here have gotten fraudulent charges on their credit cards. My charge was in late August, and others have seen similar charges around the same time.

So please make sure you look at your CC activity and see if there's anything you didn't purchase on there. You should also be receiving mailing directly from DataPak, so don't just throw it away if you see it.

If the mods want to move this to the Retail/Shopping section, it's fine with me, just wanted to post it here to give the heads-up to as many people as possible.

I received a letter from Datapak today. Had no idea what site it could be from. Thanks for the clarification.

Just checked my bank account all the way back to late June and I don't see anything strange or erroneous. Looks like I got lucky. I just got a new card anyway because of a breach within my bank. Just need to get it activated.

They already got me about 2 months ago. I got the charges reversed and got a new card. Also got a letter today in the mail. Thanks for the heads up!

I caught a authorization charge on my account for $125 at a gas station. Luckily I check my credit card just about every night so I caught it and cancelled the card before a bunch of charges were made. I don't know if this happened through wbshop or not.

I got 2 charges to my card from Europe and I'm in Virginia. I ordered from wbshop around that time. That sucks.

Yep. My Discover card was hacked a few weeks ago. That is the card I used on there. I caught it right away as someone changed the email address. Some asshat tried to use it for a 5000 dollar loan. Jerks.

i had to get a new bank card, cause people were ordering stuff from x-box live
2 small charges
the bank said 3 or 4 got declined since not enough money in my account. now i know what they were from i think
