Exclamation ATTN: WBShop Order fulfiller hacked, Check your CC's

This is probably best for the retall section, but not everyone looks there. If you ordered anything at WBShop in the past year (but more likely from June onward), it's quite possible that your credit card and other information stored has been compromised. Datapak, the company that fulfills orders for WBShop has been hacked in March, and myself and several others on here have gotten fraudulent charges on their credit cards. My charge was in late August, and others have seen similar charges around the same time.

So please make sure you look at your CC activity and see if there's anything you didn't purchase on there. You should also be receiving mailing directly from DataPak, so don't just throw it away if you see it.

If the mods want to move this to the Retail/Shopping section, it's fine with me, just wanted to post it here to give the heads-up to as many people as possible.

Ah, so this is where those charges came from. I had to get a new card a while ago because of this, but at least now I know how they got my info. Thanks.

I had one of my credit cards hacked, so will check now to see if it's the one I used at WBShop. Thanks for the heads up.

I received a letter from Datapak today. Had no idea what site it could be from. Thanks for the clarification.

Just checked my bank account all the way back to late June and I don't see anything strange or erroneous. Looks like I got lucky. I just got a new card anyway because of a breach within my bank. Just need to get it activated.

I caught a authorization charge on my account for $125 at a gas station. Luckily I check my credit card just about every night so I caught it and cancelled the card before a bunch of charges were made. I don't know if this happened through wbshop or not.

I just ordered from WBShop last week. Thanks for the heads-up. I will keep an eye on my bank statement.

I had this happen to two cards on back to back weeks in August. It's good to know this was the source.. Well, at least I hope it was.

Yep. My Discover card was hacked a few weeks ago. That is the card I used on there. I caught it right away as someone changed the email address. Some asshat tried to use it for a 5000 dollar loan. Jerks.

But has this been resolved as of September 20th or so? If so I guess I don't need to worry.
