I used to have a stupid backlog of games. I still do, but they're mostly Steam, XBLA, and PSN so I can't do anything about them.

Only physical copies I have left are my all time favorite games. Sometimes I sell those too if they're still worth a lot. Sold Titanfall and I'll pick it up the next time I want to play it again. It'll probably be a lot cheaper by then and have all the DLC.

I started holding on to my games at Dreamcast to present. When I was a kid and up to high school, I would have to sell my games to get new games or consoles but once I got a job I started keeping my games and buying back games that I sold growing up.

I'm not like that but I don't consider it a bad thing. What I do consider a bad thing, is that publishers make their game a lot more "simple" to only please casual gamers, like recently happened with Battlefront.

Everyone has different ways of playing (or in your case owning) a game, but make it "available" for both types of players. And I consider this even more a relevant thing when the series you want to continue, never was meant for casual players.

Hitman: Absolution did this very well - and to think that this game gets a lot of hate...
