Default Mixed Martial Arts?

Anyone know or heard if any of the MMA fights will come to Blu?

I know that the UFC finally started to televise the pay-per view in High Def and am wondering if this might come to us anytime soon?? anyone know which studio or company is in control of the UFC? is it even possible to bring to bluray?

thanks!

I believe the studio that produces the dvd's is First Look Home Entertainment. Who they're associated with is something you'll have to find out on your own

Well, here's the problem with wrestling and MMA

They're mostly a rental medium on home video, that's where 60-70% of the income hits.

I don't know if the income justifies the outlay, especially because they only tend to keep them in print for a year or so.

read a little bit on them, and they say theyre independent. so...?

but the COO Dean Wilson most recently served as head of new business development for Blockbuster Inc.

Blockbuster being BLU only?? who knows! maybe I'll get to see chuck lidell get layed out by Rampage Jackson in HD soon?!?!

....maybe Im just getting my hopes up.

I thought the majority of their revenue was via pay-per-view?

Well, he was asking for a Blu-ray, which wouldn't be effected by the PPV revenue

I think at some point it will be justified. It might depend on their HD PPV buys too...I'm not sure how well they sell. If they don't sell well then I can see them not wanting to jump into HDM right away.

Maybe once blu-ray becomes a little more mainstream you will see it, but probably not for a while yet.

If there are any people in a position to make it happen, I'd like to see it too.
