Default Alive (1993)

Is there any chance of this being released in Blu?
I haven't seen the whole movie but just a bit of the beginning with the plain crash scene and I was like:

"OH! MY! GOD!"

I see there is an HDTV version of it, so it would be great to see this being released soon.
Although 2013 was a missed opportunity, since it was the film's 20th anniversary.

Very good movie. I remember seeing it in the theater.

I too am wondering why this one hasn't come out to Blu-Ray yet.

Was hoping Kino would pick this up since they have a deal with Disney but that stupid rule about titles already released on DVD being excluded is preventing it.

LOL. Anyone ssks just say you named it after your favourite restaurant.

It's such a great great yet horrifically disturbing film, I still have nightmares about the plane crash, and then it's just relentless disaster after another, until the ending, which is so magnificently uplifting despite the mass death.

It deserves a BD release!

Watched this relatively recently either on a stream or Netflix DVD and was put off by the constant Catholic mushiness. Guilty pleasure to watch nonetheless.

Also notable for starring none other than Leonardo da Vinci!

That was my first thought when seeing the thread.

Passenger with thick Spanish accent: 'No thanks to the plane we are all still ALIVE.'
Passenger with mouth full of... something... responds: 'We certainly are!'

HOMER: Here are some cheery titles to help you get over your fear of flying. 'Hero', 'Fearless'...oooo, 'Alive'!

It took forever to hit dvd back in the day, so probably not high on Disney's catalog list.

I want this too.
