Just a note: I just received dispatch e-mail and it says they are using courier (although I used regular free shipping).

Just want to comment on how much I love this box. Works like a charm here in the U.S.

Is there a way to see the price history of this item? I'm pretty sure blu-ray.com had some sort of a graph for each item, but i can't find it now...

There was but the tracking was disabled at some point, I don't know why but probably a decree from the amazon overlords or something!

To anyone who has this set / upgraded from their DVDs... I can't seem to find a review anywhere...

I have all 8 seasons individually on DVD, it's one of my favourite shows, but not something I ever sit down to watch. I'd probably watch the whole series again at some point - but not immediately.

I've got the Blu set on order through Amazon (at the Black Friday deal price), which I'm waiting for Amazon to get stock of. But I'm somewhat reconsidering a double-dip on this.

I'd most likely sell my original sets if I went through with the upgrade... Just wondering, if the set is worth the upgrade at all? How well do the first handful of series stack-up in HD against the previous DVDs??

We're only halfway through the first series (double dipped from DVD) but so far haven't found any issues with the picture or audio quality.
I will say that if you're used to watching the US versions then the change in credits soundtrack will get you every time and not in a good way! But the quality of the discs and rewatch value is good

It's the one they use on Netflix for the most part, or Singaporean theme here:

But the European theme is used a little in season 1 if I remember right. I was gutted it changed over for the later seasons in this boxset because I do like the European theme.
