Default Found Shooter!

Thanks for all of your input guys, I was able to locate a Brand New copy from Craigslist in my area for $50.00 which isn't bad compared to Amazon's Marketplace. Some nut is selling a new copy on there for $100.00.

I also bought an extra one, so let me know who needs one I will ship.
The lady I bought my copy from has about 10 more of them BRAND NEW in Blu-ray.

Yeah, I saw that for $100 on Amazon. that is absolutely crazy. For that price you can go by it on HD DVD and an HD player.. LOL

Shooter is the only Paramount title in my BD collection that I think I would really miss if I didn't have it. Hopefully you guys that don't have it yet will be able to find copies still available in the stores. I thought it was a very good action flick. I think the best bet for getting it at this point is to look for it in places like Suncoast where they typically want list price.

yes, johnnymech, you only have 8 posts which means you are pretty new to blu ray, but you should have known this! how dare you not know this? i think the fact that you don't makes me more special than you, so i am going to be an arrogant prick to you, as an 'adult' with you being a 'kid.'

on a side note, good luck finding shooter; i personally think its a great movie that is very underrated. It's also a quality transfer considering its dreary tone throughout.

people cuss constantly about using the search function so use it. me pointing out that this isnt something new doesn't make me an arrogant prick. i sometimes say kid. is that a problem. as you see below im "only 20" so i use different words when referring to people.

what does my age have to do with anything? because im 20 i'm not allow to point out something that is in fact true? it makes me the kid right? personal attacks are extremely dumb of you and looking at ur public profile i'd expect someone with your level of education to not be such a tool

Calm down guys, all love in the Blu forums. Let's not turn in the HD-DVD fanboi's that spend all day whining about their hair.

It's all good, it's hard to relay emotion in text. Let's sit down, chill out, and enjoy the Blu.

i'm 20 too, no problems there. i was merely trying to find a way to instill in your mind the lack of a necessity in posting such comments. they don't really add to the conversation, they don't help anybody. it's those kind of posts that makes amazon's hddvd/blu ray forums a joke. make each of your 1120 posts a meaningful one.

I didnt mean anything by it, haha - like ^ said, hard to relay emotion via letters on a screen.

For the record, I'm only 22.

Besides, anger is best saved for FUDers and HD-DVDers

Check e-bay and amazon used.

You can feel safe buying a used blu-ray, unlike HD-DVD, which scratches as easily as a regular DVD and is more finicky with scratches during playback due to the smaller laser area required.

Blu-rays have a hard scratch-resistant coating. I purchased half of my collection used for blu-ray (nearly 40 discs) off of e-bay, and only had to send back one PS3 game, which looked as if someone had stepped on it and skated across the floor with it. It came from a pawn shop (go figure).

I told people back in July, If you want Shooter you better buy it now.

It was one of the last titles before the Paramount flip flop and I knew there wouldn't been any further production runs, and being it came out so late there was probably only one run ever.

I saw two copies of Shooter at my local Furture Shops for $36.99 each. A ripoff, considering many of the remaining Paramount titles had been marked down to $19.99.
