Cool. Does the first film happen to include the Steve Barron audio commentary that was exclusive to the German dvd? That would be major incentive to consider this release.

Very nice! Much better cover art than the U.S. releases to boot.

Turtles 2 has audio commentary by Michael Pressman, really nice to have this included! Great releases, not sure if Turtles 3 has anything exciting in the way of extras, will check!

I love these films, I hate the look of the Turtles in the new film!

Found a high res image of the back cover for Turtles 3, looks like it has audio commentary by Stuart Gilliard

Thanks for the pics. Hard to tell for sure but it looks pretty similar to the US transfer, will be picking up all 3 for the extra features.

Your welcome

Yes, they are identical to the US releases, can't speak for the UK ones as I don't have them!

I would love to buy them, but could we be expecting steelbooks, or a trilogy pack on the way?
I would LOVE a steelbook of the first one at least (i don't like the UK steelbook at all!) because it holds a special sentimental value to me.

TMNT 2 including the behind the scenes video is reason enough for me to purchase these. I still have the VHS of the Behind the Scenes feature lying around somewhere. I might wait just a little longer to see if there will be a steelbook of the first film at least, but I'll definitely get them by the end of the year.

I am also passing on the UK steelbook, not liking the artwork!

Isn't it strange how different countries get better editions, shame you have to import discs to get the missing content!

Aw man, an audio commentary? I'm gonna put price tracking on these as I'm sure they will drop eventually. Will definitely get the first film again for that. How long is the making of on the second film?

This remake is horrendous looking, the new trailer angered me to watch it!

The Making of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is about 15-20 minutes I think! I will check when I get home.

#1 - does Turtles 3 have any extras or commentary?

#2 - are these region free?

Often it has to come from independent companies rather than studios. It seems Europeans companies also believe more in the purpose of quality extras, especially if they are run by genuine cinephiles/movie lovers who will make their best to track down people, make extras etc even if they can only release a limited copies but they know they'll sell because of the attention given to them... (especially for cult genre flicks)

Well, comparisons are up at caps-a-holic and it seems they aren't.
http://caps-a-holic.com/hd_vergleich...&order=&alpha=
While the 3rd one is similar, (with the DE disc being a bit brighter), the 2nd film is more grainy in the DE release.
Now, i love grain, but is that grain or noise?

Sorry for misleading you guys regarding the transfers!

I have just checked the caps and indeed the Turtles 2 German Blu-ray is grainier/noisier than the US release. It isn't really an issue for me as the special features on the German release outweigh the grain/noise!
