Default Rambo (Rambo IV) - Jan 25th - Lions Gate - Blu-ray Exclusive

Nice looking new trailer is out. I have loved Paul Schulze as an actor since seeing him as Father Phil on The Sopranos and Ryan Chappelle on "24"

Trailer is on Apple.com, available to watch in standard, 480p, 720p or 1080p.

Enjoy.

This will probably be released exclusively on Blu-ray in April.

Hopefully there will be a boxset of all 4 films when Rambo IV hits Blu.

I know Lionsgate is for blu, but isn't the Weinstein Company dvd-only as of right now?

Regardless, we already have First Blood on blu, we should get the rest.

I heard on another thread that Weinstein is HD-DVD Exclusive, and I noticed that they have not been releasing any films in HD-DVD. This is Sonny'squote below.

Weinstein is MIA. I heard they were having financial issues as well. Might help them though if they release in Blu.

"John Rambo" looks like it could be a good movie. If he goes down the same lines as "Rocky Balboa" I think that would be great. The "old tired hero" role fits Stallone perfectly

Looking forward to this one.

I was going to link the uncensored fanmade trailer for this movie but I didn't know what the rules were pertaining to violence but it's funny as hell. It's all over youtube if you haven't seen it yet. Watch out for the part where he goes buckwild with the 50 cal at point blank range.

That 1080p trailer looks mighty nice, but it also shows just how old Stallone is. Ouch. He hasn't aged gracefully.

Don't forget when he shoots a guy with an arrow, and the guy falls onto a land mine

I love these type of action movies, really wish there were more of them.

Yep, the last Weinstein HD-DUD release was back in June.

Um.. the first violent trailer was not "fan" made. It is almost identicle to this new one with the violence cut out. The studio probably leaked it to get a buzz. Same for AVP Requiem. A genius idea imo.

They've changed the name - it's just "Rambo" now.

Fan made or not, they're great. The way a trailer should be, nothing held back. BTW AVP Requiem looks pretty damn good as well. Back to the basics.

Wasn't he taking hormones to de-age his skin for this one? If so, he probably looks much worse in real life than in this flick.

As far as the violence goes, I think someone said that he stabs a guy in the face....... with the leg of his walker. And then flings his AARP card at another guy like a Chinese throwing star.
