Did you guy read the article awhile ago. But the funny thing is when you go to new releases every tuesday. I have never ever seen a section for HD-DVD only new releases for Bluray.

It could be that that's one of the few places that rents hd-dvd.
And besides hddvd only have one good release per month (Dec-Bourne, Nov-Shrek, Oct-Transformers).
My setup:
Samsung LNS3251D 32" LCD HDTV 60 GB Playstation 3 Sony RxD7AV Dolby 5.1 Stereo system 25 Blu-Ray movies so far |

Yep. People who are cheap and like to rent (and/or pirate, I might add) prefer Dud. Everyone else prefers Blu-ray.

So, it is not because "Reed Hastings" (Netflix founder) is on the board of microsoft?

My wife and I rent from Netflix, with no issues. Only problem is, we take so long between movies that we average 1 Blu-Ray a month. Our queues are mixed with so many movies that aren't available on BD or HD-DVD.
Samsung LN40B630 / Logitech Harmony One / Sony STR-DG710 / 60 (250) GB PS3
- too many PS3 games to list here now |

HD? Yeah, they've got it.
Also because--when HD started out, and users thought they were the "smarter" ones (hah! While most Blu fans I read on this board seem to have time-warped back to 1998, with fans obsessively thinking they have to buy every title they didn't see in theaters--And board postings of "So many new titles this week, it's too expensive!", and "I just bought 'Mr. Brooks', is it any good?" (I mean, I'm as Blu-loyal as anyone, and I know the whole "Push the sales numbers" thing, but face facts--At the other end, this one IS partially your fault: No, really, what is it with the '98 no-DVD's-at-Blockbuster "Rental doesn't exist" buying thing; if it isn't intentionally nostalgic, that's just weird!)
