Nice job!

Finally get to upgrade that old Madman disc....

Just hope Umbrella includes some of the extras that were on the Madman 2 Disc DVD release version.

Nice!

A definite guilty pleasure, this.

I never picked up the Madman release, was the PQ better than the Fortune Star version (below)?

Well, it would make sense that either Australia or Hong Kong would release this first. Also, I found it amusing and jarring hearing Roy Chiao's voice coming out of Jimmy Wang Yu

I was actually lucky enough to catch a 35mm screening of this a couple of years ago, but I'm fairly certain it was a cut print

Actually found an old comparison at bullets n' babes (the good ol' days), which shows that the Fortune Star master is the clear winner (a phrase not often uttered here on blu-ray.com), although apparently the two cuts of the film are different:

There's a link to an image I snagged of the extras. Sorry I couldn't attach it.

^^ I haven't been back since the reversion.

@Glennicio Those extras look quite interesting.

I'm very curious to see what the restoration looks like.

This movie looks awesome! And it's nice that an international film gave a huge role to a Chinese actor, something they dont do nowadays, especially letting the Asian man bed at least three white girls. Very rare!

It is a fun movie, even if it falls a bit of a victim to the "second act slump"... mainly thanks to Wang Yu bedding the most random of the "three white girls"

I just found out about this last night as I was preordering my Vestron movies over at diabolik. I've seen the trailer a zillion times on my Trailer Compilation discs, but I've never seen the flick.

. . . .however six movies in one package? How can I not blind buy that. Hell if it was just Stunt Rock and TMfHK alone, I'd pick it up. So consider me sold!

"I've never met a Chinese yet who didn't have a yellow streak..."

God, George Lazenby really kicks some ar*e in this movie!

On my birthday a while ago, I was whacked out on Absinthe and was blown away to hear Sky High blasting over the speakers of a shopping mall. Absurdly strong alcohol and Jigsaw is a potent combination!!

When the hell was that? I don't remember it.

Maybe it was the Absinthe...

I thought the price was a bit high when I first saw this, but now I know why with all those extras. I wonder if the Not Quite Hollywood bits on this release are the same ones that's already on the documentary, or are they interviews that never made it on the release?

Also, is this release a limited edition?
"We're not writing pages for the Bible here. This is movies. There are no rules. And only one commandment: tell the story the best damn way you know how. Video is a compromise medium to begin with, so a little revisionism in the service of a better viewing experience is, I think, justifiable and desirable."
