Very exciting, depending on what the new transfers are like!

Dumb question but just to be 100% sure: Are these UK releases fully uncut? For example no censorship issues with nunchaku scenes or animal cruelty (don't think there were any of this in Lee's films anyway). I might just get this set instead of the two Shout releases in December if the extras are decent.

Apart from the snake BL hits on the head in Enter the Dragon to stun it (so he can
[Show spoiler]use it on a room with guards in it
later on)

5 films - 6 discs? The 6th is listed as a bonus DVD - wonder what's on there?

Either way, I've been looking to upgrade my HKL dvd collection for some time now. This is good news.

Hopefully, if true, they will have proper mono soundtracks, not the awful 7.1 remixes on the HK releases.

Intruiging if they get the treatment they deserve. We've seen some dodgy versions of all of these over the years so hopeully this becomes something approaching definitive.

Mediumrare are such a strange company, they should be making this the definitive BL release and shouting it from the rooftops yet they don't seem to advertise anything just sneak stuff out....don't think they even have a website anymore.

Going to wait and see what the reviews say before going for this set, hopefully it may prompt them to release some of the Jackie Chan movies in 4K restorations too?

Hopefully ENTER THE DRAGON is a new master too and not Warner's crappy "remaster".

If they're all Fortune Star Masters...won't Enter the Dragon be the Hong Kong cut?

they'd have to get that recertified then. Can't see it,i'm betting Mediumrare have licensed it from Warner and it'll be the same 2014 disc

Glad I didn't bother with the older versions, especially as these are being released so soon after those ones.

Fingers crossed there's no balls up anywhere.

Ooh! I, for who knows why, haven't seen a Bruce lee movie before, and something like this would be perfect. I would have bought Enter The Dragon on Blu by now, but I hear the version in the UK isn't the best so I've been holding off. Seems like that has paid off, and I'll be keeping an eye out for this.

I received review discs for the Fist of Fury and The Big Boss yesterday. Haven't had a chance to actually watch either yet, but did do quick comparative screengrabs from Fist of Fury with a couple of existing shots I had from the original disc. Obviously these are lossy jpegs and have been resized so that they can be hosted in a photo gallery on this site, but I hope it still gives some idea of the huge difference between the two presentations...

Oh, so it's the same yellow transfers as the HK discs. No original mono anywhere, I'm assuming?
Not buying this one either then... Shout, take care of this!
