Turbine confirmed that they're gonna use the same old US master.

The only difference will be the brightness...a little darker than the single US edition, a little brighter than the Action Pack US edition.

Definitely it looks like it is based on an old master.

Hmm, at least it is brighter than the U.S. BD.

There are two US Blu-ray editions.

The German Turbine Blu-ray will look a little darker than the single US Blu-ray and a little brighter than the Action Pack US Blu-ray.

I wonder if they ported over the dvd extras? The US blu only has about 45 minutes of interviews.

The dvd on the other hand contained three audio commentaries and a VFX documentary of about 55 minutes.

The US Echo Bridge blu was interlaced, so hopefully they'll at least have that corrected.

I fail to see the logic behind this statement.

Definitely one to wait for screengrabs first. The current releases suffer from bad encoding and a poor master. I have a HDTV rip but it leaves a lot to be desired.

A shame later Cronenberg movies aren't out on blu-ray, with titles like Spider; Crash; M. Butterfly, all well deserving of a release!

The'll use the same old US master. The encoding might be better...that's about it.

Disappointing release. Think I'll avoid and hope for something better.
