This is currently the #2 top selling Blu-ray on Amazon.

So... yay, commercial success might make future projects more likely.

CBS/Showtime should pull a Netflix and have 10 minutes of that dude sweeping the floor that you can't skip or fast forward through before the first episode starts.

Wow, it is currently just ahead of Hocus Pocus dvd(#3) and Hocus Pocus BD(#6).

Impressive.

Lol, so is the Hocus Pocus dvd. So what does that tell ya.
The list is updated hourly, so for all we know Twin Peaks got 4 preorders and the rest 3 or less. Iím not knocking TP, just stating that Amazonís Best Seller List can be taken with a grain of salt.

Best Buy has it for $59.99. Anyone have a guess as to what it could be on release date?

I'll probably order from Bullmoose, but $50 is way less than paying for cable plus Showtime to see it. Can't wait to see this, I've avoided all spoilers and hopefully I'm not disappointed.

If you're interested in seeing it for way less than that before you commit to buying, Showtime is $8.99/month through Amazon.

If you're a David Lynch fan, I'd guess you know what to expect. It's beautiful to look at and challenging and everything you want a David Lynch film to be. Like all of his works, some people will call it pretentious and esoteric and willfully obscure.*

*But you don't need to know those people.

I don't have enough internet to stream anything, unfortunately. I'd buy this set regardless, though.

I have more faith in Lynch than 99.9% of filmmakers out there. If this show was made by others, say with his approval or nod or something, then I'd be worried. Since Twin Peaks is my favorite and most re-watched show ever, I'm leary that magic can be recaptured (certainly the original impact can't be). But I trust Lynch not to betray the characters nor my intelligence.

Interesting thought, in that Lynchís entire ďmessageĒ in this new season is basically that you canít really ever go back to the way things were.

I'm glad we're getting a big behind the scenes thing, but I'm a little disappointed they couldn't figure out On The Air as planned, and that there's no option to watch the full Roadhouse performances. I mean come on, how hard would it have been to put those on there? For Julee Cruise's performance alone that got butchered it would have been a very welcome extra.

Still don't get why people are craving the roadhouse performances in full/isolated. Cruise's one from episode 17 is the only one that's really noteworthy in terms of style/tone anyway (apart from Nine Inch Nails/Del Rio, but those already featured in full anyway on the original episodes without interruption didn't they?)

I just want to see all of Cruise's performance in its full aspect ratio, not abruptly minimized into a little box like Showtime/Hulu did to me everytime I watched it. That and the show rolling credits over her, what a dis.

Well when they're putting all the Rancho Rosa logos back to back as an extra, and they had textless menu videos as an extra on the original series release, it's not much to ask for some textless and complete performances It wasn't just Julees perform that was cut down, there were a couple of others either cut short or cut around to have some of the random Roundhouse characters talk to each other.

This season 4 talk is to plump up books sales for next week's release, nothing more.

What exactly, would you expect a sequel to at this point, especially if it takes another 2-3 years to start shooting?
